Why does Kat always use the pistol?
in most videos i notice her using a pistol, even in the deliver hope trailer. does anyone know why or what?

Probably because it's a one handed weapon, if she's commonly tinkering with electronics and such it'd help if she can still pop up her gun hand and fire without dropping whatever she's working on.
