So i went on yesterday to play some crucible only to find out i've been banned from crucible. It's taken me hours trying to find out why and what may have caused it and found out that one of the guys i ran trials with was hitting people offline to win our games. I had no clue that he was even DDosing in the first place nor would i had even considered playing with him if i knew he would do that. What do I do now and how to i fix this???? Someone please help

Edited by Quaddity: 12/20/2017 8:55:36 PMYou can't do anything about it. Once banned you stay banned. And playing in a fire team with someone cheating will get you banned whether you realize it or not. If it was only a couple of times with that person you would have gotten a restriction and not a ban.
-
Have you been able to play mp again yet?
-
How much was he charging for a carry?
-
I mean if you're driving and the passenger tells you to pull up to a bank, puts on a mask and runs in followed by him running out and telling you to drive one time you can say you didn't know he was going to do it or that you didn't know he actually did it after. But if he tells you to go to multiple banks doing the same thing you are absolutely an accomplice. The same thing applies here. Sure, maybe you didn't know for a round or 2, but a whole card? Really? You what? Just didn't notice all your opponents dropping out of the game? Buck up buttercup you knew.
-
So: 1. you played trials 2. you or a team mate cheated by booting opponents so you could win 3. you got the benefit from the cheating so you deserve to also pay for the cheating. 4. you got a restriction because you are a CHEAT. 5. learn from your mistake or you may get a permanent ban Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.
-
And yet it didn’t occur to you it was strange that your opponents were getting disconnected.
-
You seriously didn't find it suspicious that people were disconnecting from multiple games? You are not blameless.
-
Bullshit lol. Enjoy your ban cheater.
-
How did you think he was guaranteeing flawless runs?
-
Every single cheater ever caught and banned: "it wasn't me, it was some other guy" "I had no idea he was cheating" "I'm innocent, I would never cheat" LMAO... if I had a dollar for every time I've heard those same old tired lines I'd be a wealthy woman.
-
Good. Don't drop the soap
-
And this is why i only play trials with people i know, And not random people or cheater that you pay up front.
-
How did you not notice the trend? On you dude.
-
Lol, see ya cheater!
-
Good riddance.
-
Enjoy your ban, cheater.
-
Perma banned or for a while? They wouldnt ban you for just a few times so you either played with the guy alot or the guy does this alot and you got caught in the crossfire. Especially if you guys went flawless. By cheating your team ruined the experience for other teams, you would want people banned too if it had happened to you
-
Cheating, cheating is no fun, Cheating, cheating hurts everyone.
-
Edited by PretendToBeNice: 12/20/2017 7:08:58 PMBanned is permanent... Shouldnt cheat, simple as that. You say you "didnt know he was doing it".... It wasnt suspicious to you that you werent going against full fireteams? Come on man.... Youre one less cheater to worry about!!
-
There is no fixing it. You can't honestly say you didn't know he was cheating when opponents kept dropping from games. You had to have known something was up, bungie won't ban you for playing with a cheater once, they do it if you have a history of playing with someone who cheats.
-
The fix is to uninstall the game from your hard drive.

Edited by joey big guns: 12/20/2017 7:10:05 PMGuilty by association. Sucks but you’re banned because of your fellow guardian. There’s no “fixing” it.

Hopefully you wont stay banned too long. That is a bummer
