From D1 to D2

I'll keep this short-ish. I was skeptical of Destiny's hype before it launched, that and I simply didn't have the time to invest in it when it dropped. When HoW DLC dropped I finally decided to give it a shot with the DB and HoW season pass. From then on it was the game I played more than any other when I had the time. Through TTK, ROI, AoT, FotL, Dawning, etc, it became an amazing content rich game well worth the investment. Then D2.. and after only a month of playing and experiencing first hand how absolutely gutted, bare, and basic it felt compared to what D1 left off with, I am and have remained dumbfounded as to how and why Bungie would develop and ship a sequel that literally lacked almost every good thing that was incorporated into Destiny over time. I just wanted to express how utterly confused and lost I've been as to why they would remove almost everything good they built on and instead ship a shallow shell of a sequel that seems to have incorporated none of the redeeming qualities of its predecessor. From a business and entertainment standpoint I just simply cannot understand.
