Curse of Osiris - Prometheus lens already ruining PvP.
It's day one of CoO and Prometheus lens is already ruining PvP. If you don't have the weapon, you simply don't stand a chance against anyone else that does. I don't think they realized what kind of monster they created when they brought this weapon into the game but if it's here to stay, it certainly needs a nerf.
PvP isn't enjoyable just now.

6 RepliesChill out Kinderguardian. Every weapon has another that stops it in it's tracks. The Prometheus lens is the solar twin of Cold Heart. Was PvP broken by Cold Heart? No.

1 ReplyI hate to face the inevitable fact but it’s gonna get fixed sooner or later. We all already know Bungie’s motto...if it disrupts PvP, it’s getting fixed. That fix inadvertently also disrupts PvE which disrupts my gameplay. I don’t know why I bought this piece of shit. If they can’t separate PvP and PvE, I’m done.

So, if you haven't got the Lens, probably best to stay away from the Crucible until it is nerfed, unless people like playing the Cannon Foddery Corpse Game. ....and if you have the gun, get in there .......... fun few days of a frag or be fragged fest.

1 ReplyThis gun is beyond broken. If someone gets wiff of you you're dead. Just played a game where 3 players on their team had it and there was nothing we could do. You have to sit in a corner/crouch hope they run past and try to hit from behind. Who in gods name tested this gun and said ''yeah it works just fine'' Again Bungie can you say Working As Intended.

Just report anyone in the crucible using this gun for exploiting. Since this is a bug, using this to your advantage is concidered exploiting and goes against bungies code of conduct and/or bungies license agreement. Haha this gun reminds me of D1. Mmm so much fun with this new lens. It straight poops on kids. And... It's fun. It will get nerfed since it's broken, but in the mean time. I'll be looking for crying babies like you to kill in crucible. See you there.

I'm so glad I left the sinking ship a while ago. This game is trash and only getting worse. You guys finally get one good gun and people freak out. It's people like you that are the reason this game is trash now and most of its player base are gone. Don't worry they will nerf whatever you cry about because they always do. And the rest of us will be off playing games with fun mechanics and skill requirements higher then a toddlers playground.

1 ReplyI agree with OP my team and I played a game of supremacy against a team of 2 using that gun we had scored 42 to 30 games then they melted us and started to team shot untill they beat us and won the game..............I almost broke my -blam!-ing controller 😤😑

I have it, and started using it because I didn't pre-order d1, thus no coldheart. I love the feel of it in crucible. Handling and how it shoots are just smooth. That being said, I agree it needs a Nerf. The problem is how the burn damage ticks. iirc, after a quick moment shooting, it starts it's burn damage, dealing 16 per tick. In the meantime, I'll enjoy it and hope it says for a while because screw the last hope users 😁
