Would your recommend ac origins?

To mostly a destiny fan, but I also enjoyed games like botw and the Arkham series...

  • Buy what you want but imo I wouldn’t AC games never tend to last long and whilst this one looks pretty it’s also up against things like cod WW2 and SWBF2 so honestly If I didn’t have any of those 3 I’d get SWBF2 for its multiplayer Cod is a common game every year AC doesn’t last long enough And yes EA made a mistake with loot boxes but if you’re like me you probably could care less about that drama and you just want a fun chill game to grind away on

    • Definitely. It's a huge game, and in most ways doesn't seem similar at all to early AC games. That's why I love it. Devs managed to keep enough old mechanics AND introduce new ones. Perfect mix of nostalgia and a new experience. My favorite thing period, out of every AC game, is Senu. Senu is a game changer.

      • Absolutely. I've been a fan of the series since the original and I was one hundred percent on the fence about Origins but I'm glad I bit the bullet and bought it. In my opinion it's worth full price but with Black Friday coming up that's even better. I'm sure there'll be great deals on it.

      • Sure, why not. It’s a great AC game and I’m having a lot of fun with it ( it’s currently tied for 1st place along with AC4: Black Flag as being my favorite AC game ). However, at the end of the day, it’s still an Assassins Creed game, If you’ve played previous installments and hated them, then don’t expect Origins to convert you.

        • It's like $40 on the MS Store so now would be a good time. This is what Assassins Creed should have been from the start.

Highly recommend AC Origins. Have roughly about 60 hrs into the game. And still have plenty of the map to unlock. It also has Loot progression system

        • It's a great game. I highly recommend it. I like how we can avenge other players, it's a nice additional quest (if you're powerful enogh and want to)

          • I literally just picked it up on Tuesday night. I haven't bought/played an AC game since about AC 2 or 3. Decided to give origins a try because it was an open world RPG. And I have to say it's an awesome game so far. Iv only sunk about 6 hours into it. But it reminds me a lot of the witcher.

            • If you enjoy open-world solo play, it’s definitely worth checking out. It has been great for my D2 drought as well. Unlike previous Assassins Creed games, this one has more rpg elements that make it feel more robust. A cross between TW3/Skyrim/Assassins Creed. My favorite part about it is the historical accuracy. I spent an entire night finding tombs to loot. Each of them have little factoids scattered about that give some insight. I even cross-referenced a few and they were surprisingly on point.
