Here is my suggestion, and the setup I’m currently running:
Get the TRANSVERSIVE STEPS exotic boots. Equip them. You sprint faster and slide further with them. It even affects your jump while sprinting.
Set yourself to minimum 6 mobility.
Equip a primary and energy weapon with the perk “lightweight”. This will make you run faster and strafe faster. Your jumps will also be quicker.
Use burst glide.
I’m currently using this setup on my dawnblade with air dodge skill tree. My character is much more mobile and it feels much much better.
Also, a quick tip for you people who play on pc. You can use air dodge while on the ground. Simply press your air move button first and then the jump button immediately after. You’ll “hop” in the direction you’re pressing.
I hope this helps!

I'm a voidwalker who is faster than any hunters i have ever met
-
Why does everyone think that raising your mobility increases sprint speed?
-
i know what you mean lol
-
Go back to d1 everything is slower in d2
-
Uses dawnblade, and wants to give people tips on how to run warlock... Lol no

Edited by PreUsedSoap: 11/14/2017 4:26:50 PM6 mobility + lightweight is good on its own the transversive steps make almost no difference any other exotic would be better. my warlock has 8 mobilty 0 resilience and 8 recovery

Appreciate the tips. I don't generally run with the Mida + Mini combo, but with those two weapons equipped you can fly around. Don't mind the Warlock, except for the jump.
-
If people think Warlocks are clunky and slow then they are doing it wrong.

Edited by Snake: 11/15/2017 12:43:45 PMexotics are not "exotic" anymore they used to be some of the most powerful gear available and effected gameplay quite nicely. but they were slowly degraded throughout the life of destiny, they are currently like god rolls in legendary gear from destiny 1 where the ability they have can just put it above the legendary class (but only by a very small margin and the only thing putting them apart from legendary gear is the appearance) and make very little difference to actual gameplay.

Maybe off-topic but I want to know if armor rating is 10 resilience and you add another max armor piece it doesn't increase to 11 or 12... but does it make a difference? Does armor "stack" beyond 10 rating or is it a wasted beyond 10?
my amplifier goes to 11... 🤘
So we are supposed to sacrfice our Exotic slot to just to make our class bearable in the movement department.....some future for Warlocks haha. Its a bit like if you are a Gunslinger in PVE right now.....better get used to Celestial Nighthawk as its the only Exotic you will ever be using period.

I use to wear those and I didn't notice much of a difference.
-
Thanks for the tip! I will try this out sometime.

The jump and blink is clunky and slow
-
I can’t hear you over my blinking
-
Sounds cool
-
Im still warlock surfing lol
-
So many players told me 'Those boots dont do squat' and I kept telling them otherwise. Thanks for the info! ☕😎

Ran transversive steps and high mobility for the first Iron Banner out manouvered most of my foes and ran the dawnblade. Even had it over the mida users and ran origin story until the IB pulse dropped from a rep package. Great setup imo
-
reckon ima give this a try.
-
I played D1 And warlocks are really powerfull in D1. I miss it
-
Thought mobility doesn’t affect too sprint speed, only strafing speed!
