Just a tip for anyone using the Riskrunner SMG.
Fighting groups of enemies with almost no Arc damage to activate the Riskrunner's Arc Conductor?
If you're running an Arc subclass with a grenade with which you can damage yourself, like Pulse, Storm, Flash (if you don't mind the brief blindness), you can just pull out the Riskrunner, chuck the grenade at your feet, damage yourself with Arc, and blast away with the perk.
Just be careful because it WILL damage you and if you're not careful, you could end up just killing yourself and looking a fool. But it can be very rewarding if you're fighting large groups of enemies who rarely use Arc, like Cabal or Vex.
Hope this was helpful. Stay safe Guardians. Try not to kill yourself if you want to try this out

Just use arc strider top tree and the gamblers dodge so wen u melee kill ur dodge is charged and wen u dodge ur melee refills (also melee kills cause arc conductor idk how but they do)
-
Great idea. I also can tell a pro tip... If you have a weapon that restores health when critically damaged... Shoot your feet with a rocket and switch weapons quickly to regain your health. Be careful though you could kill yourself... 🤣

Did this guy just say cabal rarely use arc? lmfao. Dude, half of them have the legend of acrius shotgun if you havent noticed yet.
-
I knew this already..
-
Seems kinda pointless if you actually have a good grenade like pulse. You could just throw the grenade at the enemies and kill them that way.

Pro Tip: 5 Legendary Shards :)

Riskrunner is amazing for soloing a plate at Guantlet in the raid. The enemies that come out the door are shooting you with Acrius so all you have to do is let them get one shot on you... then light them up with the risk runner. Chains Arc and boom... they are all dead. Turn around and get the other ones while arc conductor is still active. Most of the time I can be standing there dancing waiting for the big guy bell because the first ones go down so easy with Riskrunner.

I've always thought that this would be something that you could do I just never got around to actually trying it because I don't really like any of the arc classes for PVE
-
It really sucks for an opponent and their wingman who bears down on you with an Arc based energy weapon in PvP. It happens every once in a while but I've laid them both down when using Riskrunner.
-
I also noticed with Risk Runner on the Fallen Spider tanks, you can constantly shoot the legs and the neck area when open and it constantly reloads. Didn't know this till I was messing around last night with it.

Radiolarian fluid will proc it as well. Inverted spire phase 3, have fun.

Better watch out on the Risk Runner! BUNGIE about to nerf the ability to harm yourself for its perk. It is very Clear now... BUNGIE is becoming SUPERCELL we all have learned to hate. "PLAY THE GAME THEIR WAY/ NOT YOURS!" DESTINY 2 is a quickly failing game, and as a player that has grinded profiles and 3 characters on both PS4 and now Xbox One... ITS DISSAPOINTING to see that BUNGIE is not honest to their word; with repeated statements of improvements not happening or destroying its shelf life. I DONT LIKE TALKING THIS BAD ABOUT DESTINY 2... I just need to emphasis to BUNGIE that their fan base is relying on them to keep them playing the game not turn us away.

This gun has failed as an exotic

And then wait another 2 and a half minutes for my grenade back, no thanks
-
Yea this game isn't great
-
Something I found out from the beta is vex mind juice will also activate arc conductor

Nice avatar picture!
KUPO!!!™
Had the same thought a while back. Sucks having to wait a minute for nades though.

Weapon is excellent in the inverted spire strike on nessus too, since during the final phase, just barely touching the water triggers the perk. Was OP in the beta when it had limitless ammo and didn’t pull from reserves. Now it’s less amazing but still not bad.

I'll skip on using one of my teams grenades and losing some of my health to add power to an SMG. Running into close combat damaged isn't my idea of a grade A plan. How about this for a pro-tip: never use arc damage in the Crucible when you don't have to, to reduce the chances of someone getting the perk on their Riskrunner. Having a weapon attuned to arc specifically will never benefit you in PvP, so make sure they all aren't.

Edited by Dinklebrat: 11/6/2017 3:46:10 AMOk I’m confused... so this post isn’t about how much Destiny 2 sucks? I thought that’s what the forums were for these days. Shouldn’t this be in off-topic?

I'm torn with this gun. i like it and hate it. it's the D2 zhalo supercell but not as good. Once you get the perk to prock you can shoot endlessly and take out tons of adds like the zhalo. the arch chaining isn't as good as the zhalo and the biggest problem is you will run out of amo. the zhalo pull amo out of the air or something because it never ran out as long as you were getting the consecutive kills to keep gun reloading it never depleted your reserves. I wouldn't use it in pvp, But it can be fun in pve

You can use this in Trials to get an easy team wipe

Anybody saying it falied is dumb. The strike with the vandal and the shock shanks it rips.

Holy SHÍT this is genius. Too bad I don't play this game anymore.
