Completing the prestige nightfall just seems like a self jerk. There are no bonuses to doing it besides the aura that disappears at reset, and the enemies are just more bullet spongey than the regular nightfall. No real added challenge if your fireteam are all +300

I actually had more fun running them than raiding, and I have over 450 raid completions in D1. While everything you said is true, it's only true if you have 2-3 of the fireteam that are pretty good (as a general rule). The rewards have a lot to be desired from the PNF as stuff drops under 300 for a 300 activity. I'm not defending anything, just trying to do something constructive.
