I Went Back and Played D1 PvP:

Honestly the most fun I've had in PvP in a long time. No exaggeration. The movement felt crispy as hell and I prefer the faster TTK so much. You get these really exhilarating moments where you'll chain four or five kills together and feel amazing afterwards. Best part of all was I wasn't even using meta weapons either. I only played a few games, but I played around with SUROS Regime, Chaperone, Hex Caster Arc and, possibly my favourite, Doom of Chelchis, which I managed to pull a 27 kill, 6.75 K/D game with. I was laughing my ass off the whole time. This is what I feel like D2's PvP is lacking. The sense of "dancing through the chaos", as some people put it, is gone. I am by no means saying that D1's PvP is hard or requires some high amount of "skill", but I if I had to choose D1's "skill-less" PvP over D2's "skill-less" PvP, then I'd take D1 in a heartbeat. I'm honestly hoping D2's PvP starts to move back in this direction, since PvP is what I turn to when all other content runs dry (like it already has in D2). I run with a clan of dedicated PvPers and we've all already lost interest in D2. It's just not fun to play.
