Just joined a game that was so badly unbalanced the other team was able to just hold A to win. The difference was by like 80 points. THERE IS NO WINNING THAT! The should not happen at all. And ive only seen matches that had that much of a difference on this map in itself. So please remove it from control

Maybe your team should have stopped trying to push at A? Guard the side lane and the mid-zone. The one failing strategy I see too often in the "new and improved" crucible is teams that don't let the enemy come to them. They just keep running at them wondering why they keep getting killed. Set the trap, don't fall into one. Patience, young padawan.

Need to remove it all together. Worst map I've ever seen. After nearly 4 fukin years, Shores of Time is still the best map in the game.
-
Spawn at C...... back out to orbit and find a new game.
-
Yeah that B flag needs moving further away from A. B is also WAY easier to defend from A side.
-
Starting at C is a major handicap. Try this... Entire FIRETEAM flanks left from C to take A. If you can win the first encounter defending A, the spawn flips giving your team the advantage.
-
Move B flag to the lane on the right side and would be more balanced
-
You need to take and hold B before working A. If you have B, you can teamshoot A area. Ultimately someone on their team will be tired of not having zone advantage and will take C allowing you to go after A (but you still really need to focus attention on keeping B).
-
I'm assuming the other team had all 4 on A and your teammates constantly rushed point A either solo or as a pair? The problem isn't the map.
-
Yea this community sucks

This!

This map is unbalanced for control. It's fine for other modes. Every time I play it is 8 people shooting through a doorway all match
-
They cannot only hold A and win unless they greatly put skill you and your team. I think you mean B, which is easy for A side to get and where they can sort of control the map from.
-
Just move the flag for B to the field beside it
-
agreed this map should be clash and supremecy only
-
I don't think they have to remove it. They just have to move the control points
-
It's really broken. Imagine starting at C spawn and managing to grab A and B but having one teammate constantly spawn at C even though the enemy has that flag now. The rest of our team kept spawning at A like normal.....

Edited by Tiny Baby Jesus: 10/23/2017 3:18:50 PMTheir stats will uncover a problem if there is one. They have moved their flags before, actually they moved a flag on Blind Watch.

It's the new Blind Watch

I can say we've spawned in behind C a few times and were able to win (by taking A and B, of course). Granted, there was a noob on both teams trying to grab C the whole time... When our team grabbed C, it was a problem though. One of my friends got salty with us for yelling at him to get the eff out of C unless he wanted us to lose the game...
-
Grab and hold a and b because there about 50 yards from one another because thay makes sense. Spawn at a and keep fighting for b.
-
not hard at all...just ignore C...my favorite map because teams flip back and forth fighting for A and B which makes it fun...best fights have been on this map...only problem is when some newbie takes C and flips the spawn...learn to play it and the others become easier
-
Yeah, when this was a countdown map in trials - it was fine, but the control iteration is...ugh. You spawn on A and enjoy yourself because you just won as long as you keep pressure on B and hold A while avoiding C like a leper colony. Alternatively, you spawn C and lose as you get shot going out of the carefully laid out choke points you start out trapped in. In which case, your only strategy is to rush A with your team and leave C unguarded and hope for a spawn point swap. Well, at least quickplay is casual.
-
Holding A and B are the best bet and it lets you get the challenges done easily as it's a turkey shoot down that hallway from B to C as you can just knock folks off as they try and get the heavy at C. Only problem then is that if they get the ammo you'll have a rocket to your face at B.

Hmm... Played this map a few times recently and its totally possible to wrest A side from the other team. The outside lane from C to A appears to be key. I camped the back of the lane with a scout and picked off the enemy as my teammates pushed up, then began to push with them providing the same cover as we moved up to A. This was as a rando with no coordination with my teammates. Once we had A, we let them have the lane we'd exited and held A and C for virtually the rest of the game. I had success doing this my last two games on this map. One game was not actually Control I think, but same idea. Posting up in that area of the map usually leads to a dubya. Good luck.

I like that map

The map is ugly, but not unbalanced
