I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL THE CRITICISM BUNGIE IS GETTING
Not sure about you guys but I love reading bungie getting trashed about its sub par D2 release, its awesome. Every bit deserved. It's actually the only reason I come on here is to see bungie getting a verbal beating.

Boy O boy you should see what activision is planning on doing with matchmaking for micro transaction related patterns, "system and method of identifying portions of video game streams for driving micro transactions" Basically it would mm players who have purchased stuff vs players who haven't. The best thing to do would be getting back on once all the DLC's have been out for this games iteration. Sure you might miss some events here and there but now we know only shit transfers over. We're not missing out on anything important at all expect a few lines of dialogue and some white rarity emblems after all. The problem for me is filling up that time with quality games and what I'll binge next on Netflix ;)

I thought about loging in yesterday but I couldn't come up with a compelling reason to play. This so-called sequel doesn't inspire me like D1 did. The journey I enjoyed about the previous incarnation of Destiny kept me going. But D2 with it's repetitive loot, lackluster exotics (which repeat, I've had Radien Flux drop around 5 times now), will not keep me coming back. While I see many improvements I dont see this as a sequel. This strange game is built on the feedback of D1, DB, HoW, TTK & RoI but where the devs have attempted to 'reinvent the wheel' they've -blam!-ed the mechanics that we had grown used to, i.e: a loot system based on rng to a token based slot machine. I get that the game engine had to change, but it doesn't excuse this 'soft reboot'. I'm super pissed because I spent NZ$170 on the base game & the next 2 DLC's. #BuyersRemorseIntensifies For now I'll get into The Witcher 3 & keep abreast of any Anthem news.

There is nothing in d2 that motivates me to play it. Absolutely nothing to make you unique or powerful or different. Everybody is the same. That equals extreme boredom. So I don't play d2 now.

I agree completely, this game is terrible. I'm just hoping there are more negative posts then people saying "d2 is amazing" to slap bungie in the face enough to actually care. But yeah, I haven't played in weeks and i played d1 almost every day. SOOO glad I didn't buy the expansion pack.

Everyone knows even tho it may take a bit, they usually turn it around for the most part and make it somewhat enjoyable again, they did with D1, they continuously proofreaders IMO, anyways, that was one game I got bored with and always cane back with it, from my understanding and again this is MY OPINION, had they not left it with sidearms only, I’d probably still be playing it here and there

3 RepliesI don't see much criticism anymore. Just a ton of "Like if you're leaving" posts and about a million "Yeah this game sucks" comments. Not really constructive IMO, not sure what a developer can get from this "criticism/feedback" other than the player base is utterly toxic. Hate the game? Say why. I know everyone has been doing this for weeks, but to devolve into petty bullshit this far in is like stopping to rest on the last ten meters of a race. If you spam salt, all developers will see is salt. If you spam criticism, all developers will see is criticism.

1 ReplyThey've had at least 4 years to understand what does and doesn't work. All that needed to do was change the nightfall and other miscellaneous variables. Yet they STILL managed to screw everything up. Seriously, its like giving Tom and Jerry a hammer and a frying pan and then having them react with "What are these for?"
