You need to read this. Consumers need to make a stand and boycott AAA companies until...

Brief Personal opinions and reasons why i feel the game is bad The game engine - It is clearly not developed for the RPG elements we all want. If you look closely enough it's the same as destiny 1 was. Armour perks are just visually redesigned as MODS in fact most elements of destiny 2 are just reskinned or jazzed up version of what D1 had. It's obvious that bungie are using a game engine that they just can't create actual content that's needed for this game. Its the same rubbish with power level, it's reskinned light level. Has no meaning apart from you being worse in an encounter if its lower then required but you are never more powerful. May as well not be a feature. PVE and PVP balancing - Are people so misguided again to see that we have the exact same system from D1. Pvp and pve damage are tied together hand in hand again. If it wasn't then shotguns, grenade launches for e.g should and would do more damage in pve, but they don't. The whole experience leaves a bad taste and I feel that we are being drip fed content on a pay per play basis over the span of paid seasonal content. More on this below. Bland pvp combat based around 5 different Meta weapons and that if you don't use them you are at a disadvantage. You can't play your way and solo play is discouraged. No choice of game mode. I mean what the actual? Fps games with online multiplayer have had the option of choosing what game modes you play for a very long time, way before this game. Dam even quake arena on my old windows computer had more choice in what I played... Conclusion - Ultimately what we all know. AAA gaming is no longer about the user experience. It's about how much money the publishers can fleece from the consumer. Loot boxes, micro transactions, minimal content shells on release with content that is then sold to you in a season pass / DLC. Look at all the big triple A games in the last 6 months and how utterly disappointing they have been. Filled by PAID reviews and falsified hype to drive the AVERAGE unsuspecting person to pay for it. The "sympathisers" that stick up for the frankly DISGUSTING business models that are being rammed down consumers throats you are PART of the problem. Consumers need to take a stand and boycott these games until things are changed. Because frankly I don't want to see a world where I have to pay by the hour to play the game and pay for each weapon I get or pay to enable "jumping" in a platformer and so on. Rant over. ~ Disgruntled long time gamer.
