A game made for casuals? explain this then

So you can clearly see how many people have been logging on http://destinytracker.com/destiny/reports/daily-population, SO explain the math All i keep seeing is fanboys etc claim they made the game way easier for casuals and no matter how much skill or time you invested as a hardcore player it was unfair to the casuals. Heres how i see the math One month in high had been almost 4 million now we see 1 million on and dropping as i type. So if we now have 75% less people logging on . and no you may not count the forums as logging on . thats a desperation move to try and save a game you actually wanted to like. So that leaves 25% still playing after only a month. It appears bungie got their numbers backwards. if the casuals make the games live longer than the hardcore gamers then PLEASE PLEASE explain where all these people magically went to that are suppose to love games with no loot, no skill needed to hit end game and only play to waste time ?

They don't care how long you play as long as you buy the game then come back for the dlc and micro transactions. It's pretty obvious they care more about making cheap fast money over making a solid game. Just compare to the witcher 3.

    • They aimed it at casuals, but the game is so unbelievably boring with no endgame that even they ran out of things to do. That's when you know Bungie -blam!-ed up, badly.

Hession: I'd like to see the same graph for Destiny 1. Numbers alone are meaningless unless performing trend analysis to a similar game. In this case Destiny 1 at release compared to the same, time post release, as Destiny 2.

lemme explain : 5 m bought the game and some of them maxed out ,stop playing since d1 beta. .3 m still playing it. They will back when next dlc come out and will leave after they maxed out. It is a rutin cycle and if you thinked d1 or any activision game was for hardcore players, you will be silly or blind .

            • Casuals will stick around for a long time. But here's the tricky part, the game actually has to be good to keep them around!
