Timers on missions are for lazy game developers that aren't creative enough to come up with actual content to enhance an event.

  • Or it's a different way to enhance the event since everyone back in D1 complained about the modifiers they used to try and make NFs more difficult. More enemies. More yellow bar enemies. Bullet sponges. Elemental burns that weren't solar. Chaff. Grounded. etc.

  • Who? Just because I pointed out the truth doesn't make me some derogatory term.

no one complained about those more enemies or bullet sponges like they are doing now for nightfalls. a large group of people do not even do nightfalls now. NOTHING in destiny has been complained about more then the timers in nightfalls. so now we are stuck with most of the community disliking the timers. many polls have been done.

  • Everyone on these boards complained during Y1 of D1 about Nightfall bullet sponge enemies. Hell, they complained so hard about Valus T'aurc, Bungie nerfed his health. Then they came up with rainbow modifier against Omnigul and everyone complained it was too hard. Then they came up with chaff and everyone complained they didn't have radar. Were you not around during D1?

i was around in D1 and i never complained abou bullet sponges. i heard some complaints but i bet if we did a poll people would rather bullet sponges then timers and by a ton. its like so something was complained about that has nothing to do with this that timers need to stay. the answer is these too aspects are unrelated .timers are a whole other level of bad and is disliked among most of the community. the timer has got to go or just have it for prestige. there is no compromising with bungie. their fall of numbers of people playing the game are speaking volumes. they have time to fix it but they need to stop being stubborn about timers in nightfalls or not letting people choose thier crucible game modes . i saw a video and the guy in the video was right you have to be a A-HOLE to not give people a choice in game modes. i know these two issues are unrelated but the stubbornness with bungie is obvious.

  • Honestly, all modifiers in general are a lazy trick used by game developers to rehash old content.
