83 RepliesJust wondering... why does the rarity coding of the Emblem matter? It's value is totally different. Even the Challenge Mode Emblems are Rare. The rarest emblems in Destiny 2 aren't even coded Rare. They're Common (White) rarity, but only a very very small amount of players have it. See Lens of Fate (Movie of the Week) or Sign of Mutual Combat (Bungie Bounty). Not criticising you. Personally I also think they would be cooler as Legendary Emblems. I'm just curious about your opinion.

13 RepliesI get it now. You don't get good or powerfully or high level stuff from prestige nightfall or raid because casuals will never get it. They don't want to upset the casuals so no reward for your hard work. No reward for all of the hours you play because casuals will be jealous. So why should we do prestige mode again?

My feel when Moments of Triumph emblem veterans got for doing stuff in Destiny 1 was common. It's just like how the beta emblems in Destiny 1 were uncommon. I understand the frustration that the rarity probably doesn't match what the actual in-game rarity is, and it would be nice if Bungie actually did adjust that rarity to match that, but really, all in all, if you like the emblem, use it. Even though my year 1 Moments of Triumph emblem is common, I still proudly wear it on my main, because of what it represents. It's proof I've been playing the franchise since Destiny's first year.

10 RepliesI member when raid emblems were just the Icing on the cake for managing to finish a raid. I saw someone with an emblem and I immediately inspected them to see if they had Vex, Praetorian foil, Black hammer, Necro or Touch. THOSE were the REAL rewards! Actual loot you could use and made you feel like you've been rewarded with something powerful for doing a 6 hour raid. Now all we have is cosmetics from the Raid because Bungie is to afraid to upset the casuals by locking some of the best items behind the hardest activities. (Something nearly every single other video game has done ever)

Lmfao and everybody said it's not done upgrading, it will be much better once prestige is released. Look at your "upgraded" shotgun now, still doesn't do as much damage compared to legendaries and it's ammo count is a joke. Worst raid exotic in Destiny history imo. Nechro was even better.

If your team can complete the prestige I assume there are no rewards in the game that would help you. You have the 8 good weapons. Public events are more beneficial than the raid. Additional loot isn't the answer. A couple raids and you would have them too. The loot drop economy as a whole is broken. Pvp and strikes take so long for very few tokens and little glimmer. Just solo running around a planet is easier and better.

Not only was the emblem crap, but not even a ship we can randomly earn or a exotic arrival mod you can put on a ship or better gear from the raid or new weapon drops... Bungie did in D1 and then lowered expectations in D2? Surprisingly they didn't add more, but cut out items.

33 RepliesIngame rarity doesnt correspond to actual rarity. It may be rare in game but actually less than 5% of people will own it, which makes it almost equivalent to any exotic.
