Token system is not even Casual friendly

Many people like to talk about how things in this game were made to cater to Casuals. I don't agree with all those arguments but I can tell you that the token system is deffinately not. It doesn't seem like it caters to any playstyle really. Even though I have limited available playtime, once you finish the weekly 'main' milestones there is no incentive to keep 'grinding'. The tokens rewarded for normal grinding are not enough to make the playtime viable. And before you start formulating a reply to that, yes a casual can grind but I tend to focus 'maximizing' my playtime to try and gain the most out of the time. I think it' safe to say that this system needs a huge overhaul for it to feel rewarding to the varied playstyles and time played. I'm not saying I need to be rewarded the same as a 30+ hour a week person but it still needs to be rewarding enough to actually want to come back. Edit: Feel free to elaborate on this Edit 10/17- thanks to all who kept this going through the night. It was cool to wake up and still see this trending. I think it shows a lot that a simple opinion post that had little in the way of factual numbers or anything had such an impact. Most people simply do not like the token system.

  • No way is it "casual" friendly. Can you imagine someone playing solo, with limited play time, having a fun time grinding out a full set of Iron Banner gear on the sweaty team shooting fest that is crucible....NOPE
