Do you have any of the mission markers (previous/next) available on any map? While not a fix for the issue, you could try LFG/Find Fireteam and load in with someone who has the mission still.

Nope. That's the problem - I'm locked out of the mission areas and can't restart the mission because no mission marker, and there are no more Red War mission markers anywhere on any of the other planets.

It could take a while for this issue to be investigated, identified and hopefully fixed... So if you can, I suggest you try to find someone with the 1AU story mission so that you're not stuck anymore... (LFG/Bungie's Find Fireteam)

No one from Bungie has even looked at it. No one uses fireteams for story missions, unforuntately. I set one up, but I don't really have any expectations that anyone will even see it. I guess it's refund city through XBL for me.
