Dont cheat
Its not a misunderstanding if you deliberately use software to modify the play experience
Bungies policy is very clear and they are trying to remove the cheating element from the game
If your account is restricted then its temporary if its banned its permanent

You're assuming Bungie anti-cheat is 100% correct 100% of the time, which is insanity. People were not cheating in the BETA, they got banned within 10-20minutes of gameplay for having other softwares open while playing.

Bans dont get issued lightly, yes there can be mistakes but a Ban only happens if there is a serious infraction of the terms and conditions.

Well I would agree with you if there weren't dozens of other people being affected. Not having a way to even dispute is crazy.

People got banned just for using Discord while playing. Take your head out of your ass.

Oh i doubt that Discord had anything to do with it. Blizzard and bungie have a lot of experience with players using discord on other games. They were using software to modify the game codes Its alway amazing how those caught using cheat software are always innocent. What pleasure do people actually get from cheating at a video game really is bizarre “Look at how good i am” life lesson here if you need to cheat in a video game what sort of philosophy are they taking into real life

You first assume that there is no problem with the anti cheat system during the beta putting your faith 100% in the developer. You then claim that everyone that was banned during the beta and have posted on here is lying and they intentionally attempted to cheat. To top it all off you conclude that these aforementioned people have an incorrect philosophy on life and assume their morality which is just absurd. You have no evidence to back any of your claims yet you make such acute accusations. Why not try to understand a situation instead of your nonsensical straw man arguments?

You're just embarrasing yourself now. It's ok if you don't want to believe when people say they didn't cheat, but don't go and write stuff based off of things you simply have no idea how they work.
