Upvote if you want random rolled weapons perks back and not just cookie cut weapons over and over and over again :(
Have you ever experienced the joy of getting a god roll weapon in destiny 1, I have and that was a big part of the end game grind (as well as G horn in year 1) , that excitement you might get something fantastic when you play is gone.

I would really like them to remove the RNG from weapon drops and instead have to pay a lot more for specific weapons once you get to level 20. I've had dozens of grenade launchers, I don't like them or use them but I still get more of the damn stupid things. An increase in the amount of glitter you can have would also be good, I either have a full 99,999 or virtually zero. You can't trade it so no point in the limit, might as well be a million or more.

I have to say, it wouldn't be the worst idea. But, I'd rather see them improve the mod "system". No, perks, just standard stats on weapons and armor, and then improve them through mods. 3 slots were you can put blue, purple and golden mods, with 5, 10, 15 (or 3, 6, 9 or 2,4,6) percent increase in stability, damage, range..., and 1 or 2 special perk slots for mods like explosive rounds or things like that. And get rid of the powerlevel-ups through mods. I'd rather get gear to level up the powerlevel through engrams, one point at the time.

They will add a new set of mods for weapons.

If the devs decide to bring back random roll rewards then there needs to also be some system in place that insures that if i dont get the weapon rolls i want after hrs of grinding then i can just trade with another person for it or some way to insure that players can get exactly what they want without having to feel like RNG is a evil spawn of cthulu.

The random rolled weapons from Destiny 1 were cookie cut weapons aswell. The only problem is that players had no choice in what shape the cookie they got was or when they could have it. RNG on top of RNG. I dont want to see that system return i want a better system that offers more choice and reliability.
