Shader problem and possible fix...

First off, keep shaders consumable. It's a good currency for loot. It's an incentive to play certain activities for chances to obtain those favorite shaders. It also adds a bit of background to each shader. A minor problem I see happening is using legendary shaders on gear and then not wanting to replace/delete that legendary shader with a new shader. This may force the player to collect multiples of the same gear, only to have multiple looks for that gear ready to go. When the game evolves and more collectible gear starts to flow into the vault space, players won't have the luxury of maintaining multiples of the same gear. A possible evolution to the shader system would be to keep them as consumables but add in an unlock tree specific to each gear. Example: If you like the titan GENSYM KNIGHT GAUNTLETS and apply the CALUS'S SELECTED shader, it would unlock that shader slot for those gauntlets to use at anytime. It adds an element of legacy to each piece of gear. For the pieces of gear players really love, they would strive to unlock each shader slot and complete that gear's shader tree. Maybe as a bonus, when players complete the shader tree for a piece of gear, unlock a special Rainbow shader for that piece to showcase to other players your completed look. Just seeing a potential problem and suggesting a possible fix that keeps things as close to the current shader system. Thoughts?
