If Bungie is adamant on "competitive" pvp, then yes, because atleast this way pve doesn't have to suffer as a result.

Edited by Giga Chad Perfected: 10/10/2017 12:33:06 AMCounter Strike, quake, unreal tournament, Call of Duty (in some scenarios and I know this one is a stretch) rainbowsix siege, overwatch, highlander in tf2 is very competitive, though it has different rules and is separate from the vast majority of tf2, the halo games are pretty competitive, and a few that I can't name off the top of my head (the one where "skating" was the main way to move around). Edit: Arma, Low player gamemodes in battlefield, pubg (kind of), pvp in the division was pretty damn tactical, though hackers ruined it.

Quake and Unreal are twitch shooters and both are based off OHK, fast game play. Very different from Destiny.

Yes, but how many weapons/combinations exist in D2? A lot more than what are in any of those games. How many of them have both pve and pvp that are balanced in tandem?

Actually D2 has a lot less weapon attachments and overall less customization.
