I know it's all based on RNG, but come on out of 50 rank ups I didn't hit the number for gloves once. All because the RNG didn't distribute evenly I have to wait until the next Faction rally to get NM gloves, which hopefully will be from the same set?!? That's crazy to me. At least in the Destiny 1 I could buy what I wanted after the grind and RNG shortfalls. Solely relying on RNG is no good if they put a cap on it. Which has to be 25 because I only grinded out 1000 first and everything after was the shaders.

In D1 it took me 200 NM rank ups to get the Comitatus ship. There were people in Y1 that had hundreds of DO rank ups before getting certain shaders. RNG means you either get it right away or possibly never. The only guaranteed loot are those tied to quests. Bungie has never stated you’re guaranteed specific loot from activities that rely on RNG like vendor rank ups. It is what it is. Random means there is always a possibility your number never comes up.
