I really do miss it. I mean, at least in D1 we had CHOICES! We could choose between 6 man, 3 man, and even 2 man game modes. now it's all 4v4, casual or competitive playlists. That's it. No choosing. Call of Duty gets to choose game type, game difficulty, map choice, and I believe modifiers if I'm correct ( tell me if I'm not). We no longer get a choice. And to top it off, crucible feels....lacking to me now. I can't put my mind on what it is, but it's not as fun as the old crucible. I'm very worried about what they will do with Iron Banner if we still have it, or if there will be something like it. I thought that all weapons in crucible were supposed to be balanced now since we don't get to choose god rolls, yet it feels like I still see a dominance of auto rifles and scout rifles. I do somewhat like how they put shottys, snipes, and fusions as power weapons because that feels more appropriate, but I honestly am relieved every time I get killed by something other than an auto or scout rifle. Oh yeah, and hand cannons. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but from what I have seen during my playthroughs, I feel like hand cannons in pve are really solid now. Pvp, on the other hand, is extremely hit or miss. I really have to slow down my shots and aim properly to get a 2-3 hit kill, even with the extra aim assist. It's like my bullets fly right passed players, even when in a good range and aiming directly on point. What are your thoughts? I will be honest, I am a very casual crucible player so I probably won't have the same view as those who are hardcore, I am merely stating what I feel since I started D2. I love everything else about the game, just a bit frustrated with pvp. One last note, I have yet to play trials so I have no review for that.
