Bring back Mayhem
I loved Mayhem in the first game and I wouldn't mind seeing that in this game. I know that the pvp scene has changed a lot from before but here's my counter reasoning: why not?

They'll bring it all back through dlc over the next 3 years cause Activision is the devil. This should have been an expansion onto D1 but I'm sure marketing figure they could con us into believe this was a real sequel and get full price. And it worked :(

Bungie needs to bring back FUN. PVP is -blam!-ing boring. Strikes are boring. Timed NF is BS. No grimoire, no subclass customization, no 'tier 12' to grind for, single use shaders, no 'god roll' weapons worth chasing, the same races as D1, same mechanics as D1...EVEN THE COMPANION APP IS WORSE FFS.

Personally I love the mode. However in D2 4v4 it just wouldn't be the same. Just like Supremacy is much better suited for D1 in every way.

1 ReplyWith the TTK of these weapons? MIDA takes 4 or 5 headshots to kill and people are calling it OP. if you kill 3 people you might win. Let's wait to see what the first update brings.

Mayhem playlist should definitely be brought to Destiny 2 for casual players to enjoy. At the same time they could nerf auto rifles in normal PvP and buff them to hit 50 crit damage in mayhem. That way more competetive players should not have to stand the plague that is auto rifle meta in the Crucible while still keeping that option open for casuals in a separate playlist!

I see it now, people raging cause of tethers shutting down supers, grenade spamming to actually kill people, mobile striker titans, nova bombs used to panic kill a person on a super, and finally............ the fun of complete and total maythem!!!!!! Bring it back, it was fun and it should come back.

3 RepliesBring it back, but lock Nightstalkers into the "Way of the Trapper" tree. I know that people will want to complain, but Nightstalker's shadowshot is incredibly contradictory to the mayhem mode. Tethering an enemy player, as I'm sure everyone knows, will remove them from their super, or prevent them from activating it. Too easy would it be for you to just spam shadowshot at every area. D2's shadowshot can shoot up to [b]6 [/b]times, allowing you to easily take multiple people out of their supers. Personally, I'd recommend the entire class be removed from the mode, if implemented. As much as I would love to run around shutting off everyone's supers, it's just too contradictory to the game mode. *I also believe suppresor grenades do the same thing, not so sure though

Bring back Mayhem, bring back Rumble, bring back 6v6 and larger maps along with it, bring back being able to choose your game type, bring back grenades that don't tickle your enemy, bring back Doubles, bring back Private Matches. Less is not more Bungie. PVE you did great, but PVP you put shits worth of effort into. But don't worry guardians we will get these game modes back slowly in upcoming DLCs, and when we do, we need to call them out on their bullshit.

I got 3 ideas: Mayhem combined arms with the drake tank on bigger maps than in D1. Or sort of Conquest like in Battlefield. That would be fun

They'll probably bring it back in the 3rd expansion. And yes, you'll have to pay for it again.
