From what i understand, the fallen antennae are broadcasting a call to arms, looking to reunite whatever stragglers from the old houses that have yet to join up.
The Hive are not-so-obviously calling/reporting to Savathun, Oryx's sister. Many of the Hive scannables mention her by name, as well as all the enemies with names/titles referencing her. The Taken might be doing that as well, based on the enemies named after Quria (a Vex Mind that Oryx Took, and later gifted to Savathun) but I'm not so sire about that yet, because only Oryx had the power to control those corrupted by the Deep.
As for the sea monster, i have no clue. I'm kind of hoping it's the Leviathan that resided in the oceans of Fundament, the Hive homeworld. But it could be one of the Worm Gods, seeing as how the Hive have taken a special interest in that planet. That one doesn't make as mich sense tho, because the Worm Gods, as far as i understand, are still trapped on Fundament, living off of the tributes of the Hive.

The Leviathan is dead, the systems on Titan detected the huge sea monster long before the Collapse, and hopefully Quria rises up against Savathun because that would be -blam!-ing awesome.
The Leviathan is dead
Hasn’t stopped bungie before

Don't remembet them killing the leviathan. That kinda sucks, but oh well. It wouod be kinda weird to have that leviathan AND the emperor's leviathan in the same game.

True. Technically we could call the fat creature a fully grown Hive worm and the other skinnier one a Leviathan and it would be fine. Even though I am under the belief that both are just Titan's native life, thanks to Byf, the Worm theory makes a little more sense. It just isn't Oryx's or a Worm God considering we used the former in the Touch of Malice and the latter was close to the Darkness, practically its own protectors.
-
I don't think it's Oryx's at all, you're right on that one.

The worm gods escaped fundament when the hive started their war. The worm gods could be literally anywhere in the universe.
-
Do you, by chance, remember which grimoire stated they escaped? I don't remember reading that anywhere.

Edited by Destroyer-829190: 9/21/2017 4:23:55 PMThe Taken are almost certainly (99.9%) under the control of Savathun now. The first major Taken boss is even called "Harald of Savathun".

Oh yeah, forgot about him. Gonna be interesting to see how Savathun obtained the power of the Deep, if that's the direction Bungo is going.

Edited by lordvikagaming: 9/24/2017 12:08:09 AMSavathun feeds her worm with fooling people(can't think of the proper term for that) if im correct. I wholy believe the the Eris Morn we knew in D1 was actually her and we did her bidding and allowed her to feed her worn by killing Oryx and his children, clearing the way for her to take control as leader of the hive and the taken. She gains control of the taken when she picks up the crystal from Oryx sword at the end of the ttk story line.
