The sense of achievement has been robbed

I remember the first time I got gjallarhorn I was speechless and left in wonder. I remember finally getting queensbreakers bow after weeks of grinding Poe. Lastly I remember running sunrise bounties until I finally got icebreaker year 3. All of those feelings seem to be left behind in d2. I find myself wishing I could play d1 and grind on there or run those raids. I feel sad and betrayed bungie. Update: for all the people defending d2 who played d1 you cannot deny the fact that the game should be a sequel both cannonicaly and gameplay wise. Destiny 2 is by no means a sequel, I wouldn't even call it a .5 of the original. It has no remnants of the original because it has retconned half its lore out of existence and dumbed everything down to the point where I could get my dog to beat half the levels.

 • You feel betrayed, huh? The day I feel personally betrayed by a video game developer is the day I'll stop playing videos games...you're taking this stuff too seriously. It's a video game, dawg. It's entertainment, not a way of life. Bungie doesn't owe you, or I, or anyone anything other than they game they shipped. And even then, one that shipped just TWO WEEKS ago. Let the game stew a bit. I will agree with you, however, that the exotic drops are a bit too frequent and it does seem to dilute the thrill of receiving a coveted weapon.
