The purpose of a "raid" is to provide players with new and interesting loot that also forwards their progress in the game. The Leviathan, however, has a backwards loot system that fails to reward players for completing difficult tasks.
I have already completed the raid two times, and though I enjoyed the raid itself, the rewards were disappointing. On my most fruitful run I only received 2 pieces of raid armor and one raid weapon throughout the entirety of the raid, despite being the luckiest one on my fireteam. Most of my teammates only got one piece of armor from the chest following the Calus battle.
I understand that the token system is supposed to make up for this reduction in loot, but even after opening all 3 chests in the underbelly, I was only able to level up Benedict (raid vendor) one time. To make matters worse, it was a duplicate of a piece of armor that I already received in the raid with a lower power. In addition, the majority of legendary engrams received from the raid drop at low power levels and don't provide raid specific loot.
All in all, The Leviathan's loot system isn't exactly what I assume many players had hoped for, mostly since D1's raids were much better in terms of rewards. The system should be either changed or enhanced, especially with prestige mode on the way.
TL;DR : D2 raid loot system fails to provide sufficient rewards and should be modified or changed.

Actually your post is so convoluted that its funny. The point of the a REAL raid which this one finally is, is to challenge you and make you come back for more. If you got all the gear the first or second time then there would be no reason to keep coming back for more to 1) Get better at the raid itself. 2) Get more loot. This whole "I'm entitled to my loot because I beat it" is such BS! WOW doesn't reward its players until they have beaten their raids at least 100 times. Stop crying you little turd.
