Still haven't gotten the Old Fashioned. In D1 when I wanted The Devil You Know I grinded for the currency, then bought the gun. D2 comes in, I grind for the currency, and oh look ANOTHER Scathelocke....
The problem is that there is almost no variety in the game. If Bungie allowed us to buy what we wanted then we'd already have everything because there are like 5 pieces of gear in the entire game. (Obvious exaggeration.) So they leave it up to RNG so you get the same thing 50 times before finally getting what you want. Artifically extending the grind and play time.

Yup. Again. Diablo and WoW and borderlands (to which defenders of this system are pointing) have hundreds of pieces for each class . The loot tables cannot even be compared. We've got less loot than the previous game and no way to CHOOSE what we want. On top of that the actual armor is way less interesting and doesnt change your play style at all. The build diversity is almost completely gone. Its a terrible system. But hey I hear PvP is balanced now. Though the obvious solution to that has been around for a decade. Different loot for pvp. Like in WoW. PvP loot is a separate walled off area.

Pvp might be balanced because everybody is using the same gun the mida

This is what I am by far the most upset with in this game. So few weapons. Out of those so few are worth using. So what do they do? Try to hide it with rng.

Bro, I got like 5 old fashioned s so far

I finally got an old fashioned from shaxx yesterday. Let me tell you, it was amazing!
-
I got two last night after wanting it, but I've really been after Better Devils.

Better Devils feels super good to shoot good luck

You should be looking for Dire Promise, not Old Trashioned.
-
I've been in love with Dire Promise since the first week
-
Old Fashioned isn't all that great tbh. The aesthetic is amazing though, I'll give it that.
-
Ha I got it and scraped it. Wish I hadn't, cause I haven't gotten one since. I also want that Hakke auto rifle.

I have the auto rifle. It's awesome.
