Maybe instead it only activates when you have 50% or lower health? The point of the exotic perk is that it only works when you're hurting.

exotics are ment to be situational and not a swiss army knife 1 size fits all

Umm. Midas my situational. Sweet business isn't situational. Merciless isn't situational. Hard light isn't situational. Sunshot graviton lance Tractor cannon None of these are situational. Now let's look at D1 exotics. Gjallerhorn isn't situational The exotic swords aren't situational Suros regime and red death aren't situational Tlaloc isn't situational Hawkmoon Thorn The last word None of these are situational, and this is a small part of the list.

My Mida is my cure all when I can't decide what else to use ;) Merciless is supposed to be used on ultras for massive short range single target DPS. Gjallarhorn was supposed to be used to clear ads, go figure
