I've NEVER been so disappointed in this game, til now
This raid/rng royally screwed me. I'm the type to scold those whiners who feel entitled to get everything in a game, with little effort. I don't believe in rewarding someone who hasn't put in the time. But what can you do when a person HAS worked hard for something, and there's nothing to show for their accomplishments? This is the first time I EVER feel like I need compensation!
EVERY single chest I've opened gave me just tokens except for the dogs part, where I got a warlock bond and ONE engram that bumped my light by barely one. I've tried God knows how many times to complete Calus but I finally did and man was I ecstatic. Only to be disappointed once again. With all my hard-work, stress & time, the failures & wipes: I get another bond. I go to the vendor in the Tower to spend all those HARD-EARNED tokens, for... what? You got it. ANOTHER F'N BOND!
Bungie... smh... I'm at a lost for words man...
EDIT: Ran the raid with my second character before the reset and I got MUCH better drops. Again, I don't want to come across as whining that I didn't get anything. Im not the type that expects everything in just one run. This is NOT what I'm upset about. It is the hours put into this activity, the stress of dealing with multiple wipes, pressure & frustrations from teammates, people dropping out, getting close to completing only to have to do it all over again for one mistake, and more. All this, just for one distinctive item, while the rest of the team gets 3-4 (and those players were practically carried). If I only played 2 hours, one warlock bond or nothing at all would've been fine to me. But that is not the case here. So for all of you who think I'm bitching because I feel entitled to everything, I don't. I understand how RNG works. Still doesn't make it right. I just believe you're due more than just one item for all that struggle.

I still haven't decrypted an exotic weapon after around 40 exotic engrams...except the trash push shotgun. It's always an armor piece and mmore often than not it's synthoceps...18 times so far.

RNG be RNG I'd say. Pretty frustrating tho. I'm just still happy the game gives individual rewards instead of drops people have to roll for.

Literally the exact same situation with me, but with titan marks. Still super salty about it. All i got for weapons was the sword which, granted, isn't bad

I never would have gotten Fatebringer if not for me joining in mid way at Templar on hard. I spawned dead and they kicked me afterwards lol. It took me a thank 20 runs to get VoC.

tones of loot, not so much Replace loot with pogs and that about sums up the end game rewards so far.

Guess its just the same as every other raid in D1, you're either lucky or you aren't no matter how long it takes you to complete the raid. Im sure no doubt ill have my turn to be screwed by rng in the raid & you'll have your turn to get quite a few good items. Although if this is the first time you've needed to vent about a raid rng chances are you've had pretty good luck in other raids already. Thats just how it goes.

With that Queens faction on D1, over the course of six months I leveled it up thirteen times and every single time I was given double titan marks. Bungie and their RNG can kick rocks

Trials is where it's at. Guaranteed drops for 3 5 7 and flawless.better weapons imo too.the only issue with trials is the ability for people to re run it.you can always run into a buzzsaw,especially now we are receiving tokens in trials also.
