I agree. I'd rather have it like it was in year one of Destiny, where you were kicked to orbit if the whole fire team died. This timer shit is garbage.It just doesn't feel like you get enough time and trying to get to the rings before they despawn, without getting killed, is difficult.

As well with the one last week when you had to kill enemies. Some of them were just too tanky and hard to kill, and trying to stay alive was hard as well.

For the Inverted Spire strike, best practice seems to be killing adds first and then grabbing the rings. The rings have a "spawn ring" that doesn't disappear so you can activate it when the area is clear and have a breeze collecting the rest of the rings. Trying to do both add clearing and ring grabbing is too much to concentrate in my opinion.
