This post is -blam!-ing annoying as hell. It is a raid, it is endgame content. You are not supposed to just be able to do it first try. You are not supposed to be able to do it on the 5th. Get over it.

I believe he is saying for Normal Mode the bar has been set to high. Yes! It should be challenging, but for trying to help people through a Destiny Raid in certain places it's too much for noobs. 1 additional buffer for difficulty would be okay, but both on Normal is too much for the newer people. "MY OPINION" Nobody is talking about it, but the reason encounters drop tokens is just like why shaders are a 1 time usage. Not microtransactions, but longevity of the grind. If you can't find a chest to use a token then you want to Raid again. If your Raid team doesn't have the time it won't go for a chest that is out of the way too right? Wanted longer end game? Bungie gave it to us. In the hole we didn't want though is how view it.

  • sounds to me you haven't even ran it yet. yes the raid is hard and challenging it's fun to me. I've spent probably 12-15 hours in the raid to finally get to the end boss who I still have to beat. You can have the best team, the greatest communication and good skill but NOTHING will fix the BUGS that's what making a hard raid absolutely a nightmare. EX: the pleasure gardens and end boss. I spent maybe 7-8 hours of the entire raid in this area. I've had plenty of good teams and great communication what is broke is the darn hounds. When everything is going well and everyone is in the right place for no damn reason the hounds will out of no where start sprinting at 1000mph for no reason and go straight to the teammate's that are completely hidden like its psychic completely defeating the purpose of judging their built in AI paths. second is when they are on the AI built in path sometimes before their path is up they will immediately do a 180 and spot players. I'm sorry but you can have the most flawless team in destiny history and have the worst time in the garden because of the ADD buggy skits frantic dogs who are broken. If the AI was cleaned up it wouldn't be nearly as frustrating. The raid boss is my other problem with bugs. I found a great communicating well rounded team. we get to the damage phase more often than not but what happens is basically 1 our of 3 times in the rift phase the 4th barrier that was put in doesn't work half the time in stopping my guardian. when I get sucked against it, it pops me up and doesn't stop me like it should it's buggy. I would have probably finished this boss and cut time off the raid if these bugs didn't exist and I know I am not the only one with this issue. everyone saying get gud is garbage and hasn't played the raid and experienced the frustrating bugs that prevent progression. A bug is a bug you can be perfect at the game and still get screwed over when the mechanics aren't working like they should be and that's the biggest problem me and I sure majority of others have and can vouch for. Everything else is great its fun it's stimulating I don't mind the loot grind I get the core idea behind it. If the bugs were cleared out this raid wouldn't be receiving as much negative feedback as it's seeing.

  • If you spent 10-15 hours in it, you needed to find a different group, easy as that. That's how it is in every other MMO as well. You can't just expect to blow it up with random people every time.

  • One time my team was damaging a dog during the damage phase and it turned and ran AWAY from its flower at full sprint. We tried to chase that thing down but in the end the safe room door closed. Didn't see that happen at all with my other attempts but that one seriously ticked me off.

  • He is right though thats why you have 1 week to clear the raid and get rewards, if anyone no matter the skill lvl was able to breeze through first try, the first day then the raids would be as praised as they are, give it 1 or 2 week for people to find the best strategies and groups will start to clear the raid in less than 2 hours or even 1 hour.
