Those pyramid ships we're all scratching our heads at saying it's "Osiris!" Or "The darkness" (Btw, osiris is in the vex data stream and the darkness is an ethereal entity...) I finally scratched my own head and figured it out myself, welcome to my own crackpot theory that might actually be correct... It's Savathun and her fleet. Let me explain... So Oryx arrived in our system on a dreadnaught with smaller similar fleets that looked nearly identical to his own, the similarity there is...favorable. But we can compare green apples to red apples all day, let's go onto my main reason for thinking this. So, when you start playing on titan and you see the ritual they mention something about a hive god being attempted to be summoned or communicated with and immediately mentions Eris's name, she who left the tower after Asher was hospitalized to learn how to fight the hive. It could've been a basic summoning of a knight, but the Savathuns song strike is where it hits my theory like a carbon wheelchair, i'm still trying to learn exactly what shriekers are for the hive, but if anything i believe them to be a communication device for their lords, kings, queens and gods, I.E. them naming it her song, i feel like the hive on titan are basically trying to create a ritual to communicate with Savathun outside our solar system, but we stomp out their plans almost instantaneously. But when the traveler awakens and bursts out the light to everything in the system and beyond, it awakens her fleet considering the light touched her ships, and as we all know, or atleast i hope we all know the hive feed off the light. So this burst must've finally awoken her fleet and now she is moving to the source to consume the rest of the light, similar to what Oryx wanted to do to us.. So yeah, there's my theory and i'm not going to lie, Osiris and the darkness seem about as likely as IO being an enjoyable planet. So tell me, do you think i'm right? Or do you think i'm wrong? Thanks, and enjoy the read.
