Attunement of Flame

TLDR: Attunement of Flame feels like crap when compared to Attunement of Sky because it doesn't synergize very well and doesn't feel very useful outside of using your super. Phoenix Dive makes more sense combined with Icarus Dash. I've gone through the entire campaign, completed various quests, strikes and Crucible matches and I can say I quite enjoy my time spent on my Warlock. Rift is a great addition to my abilities to provide relief in some tight situations. The introduction of Dawnblade to replace Sunsinger is appreciated, and it's tons more fun to use, and I've found a favorite in using the Attunement of Sky over the Attunement of Flame. That said, I feel that AoFlame is incredibly inferior to AoSky and here's why: Attunement of Sky offers a unique combat style allowing you to remain airborne while both shooting or using your grenade, recharge your grenade and melee ability and even dodge in middair. -Swift Strike burns enemies while providing a movement and reload speed on hit, which also helps with getting airborne. -Winged Sun allows you to fire weapons and throw grenades while gliding -Heat Rises causes airborne kills to recharge your melee and grenade energy (about four - five kills or so) -Icarus Dash lets you dodge middair every ten seconds So you get great synergy, a useful and reliable melee ability, incentive to kill while airborne with a great reward for successful kills AND improved evasive mobility. The only improvement would be to allow Swift Strike kills to also buff allies and for Airborne kills to recharge nearby ally grenade/ability charges. Outside of that, great choice to use in pve. Attunement of Flame is where I start to see a problem. -Igniting Touch causes enemies to burn and explode upon death. There's a Sunbreaker melee that does the exact same thing but better. This is also incredibly situational and not very reliable. It also does not synergize with the rest of the skill diamond. -Fated for the Flame causes Daybreak (super) projectiles to track and launch of stream of fire on impact (makes multi super kills easier and more rewarding) This only affects your super and otherwise does nothing for you outside of your super. -Everlasting Fire extends the duration of your super for every kill you get, which does synergize with Fated for Flame but otherwise does nothing for you or your team. -Phoenix Dive will make you quickly descend while middair and restore your health. In your super, it becomes a ground pound. This does not really synergize with anything nor does it really do anything that useful for you and is incredibly situational. It'd make more sense for this ability to combine with Icarus Dash since you spend more time airborne. Overall, Attunement of Flame is great for super kills and that one strike on Nessus since you'd never die from falling damage, but it's only good for enhancing your super, and it synergizes poorly. Phoenix Dive doesn't even feel appropriate on this skill diamond. As an added suggestion, I think Sun Warrior on Sunbreaker Titans should also buff allies using a Solar subclass. It'd provide great synergy between all three classes. What do you think about your respective Solar subclass? Which skill diamond do you prefer? What would you change?
