This is bungies game. Not yours. You should just be thankful that luke smith wanted the gratification of the fanperson army validating his existence or you never would have seen d2. You should be grateful and throw your money at the screen for the joy you are required to experience at the privilege of playing this "game." You were never smart enough to customize your class or select your own activity. Pray to the traveller you are not smote for questioning lord smith. Pray that he does not take away the little bit of choice you do have left when selecting a class at the character screen. Pray they allow us even to look upon the first dlc after this blasphemy! /s

So, I felt the way you did at first, but now I actually like all of these things. With the strikes, I prefer this to an enormous degree. Before, people would just queue for whatever strike was known for being the best at grinding glimmer or engrams. If you didn't feel like playing that strike, there were less people to do stuff with. Also, grinding the same strike 50-100 times in a row for a piece of loot (Looking at you Dust Palace, the cape was amazing, but the grind was miserable) was actually ruining the game for me. I wanted something so badly that I would tunnel vision on it and grind to get it and I would hate my life. Now I actually play variety and everyone has people to play with in all the strikes. With the Crucible, I would only play Control because I liked it the best in D1, but it started to get boring. Really boring. I could have played other modes, but I sort of had Control figured out and didn't want to change, I was in a rut. Now I play all modes and I am always interested to see what mode/map I get each time. I think the current system will give the game much greater longevity.

What shaders? Oh you mean the shítty chroma downgrade.

Well it's your own fault for trusting Bungie. They scammed the lot of you again. But you will still play won't you? Blame yourselves.

I agree on this, not having the choice to pick what game mode or strike we want is annoying.

I really need the option to pick a specific strike again. I've only played the playlist three times because all three times was Savathun's Song...

It would appear choices are now for other games and game devs to give players. Bungie seems to have thrown ours under the bus for D2 :( Why give choices when they can make them (and anything else) for us?

Totally agree. Its almost like a complete 180 of the first game. D1 had no story, lots of choices of activities... then D2 comes along, has an actual story (kudos for hiring writers, Bungo!) but no choice.

Agree. The lack of choice is overwhelming.

Can't even buy gear anymore. Gotta RNG everything.
