As his ship landed he noticed a mysterious figure standing on the metal platform of the hangar. Clad in muted gray [i]Robes[/i], the figure eyed the messenger from under a deep hood--his face seemingly shifting as though made of writhing snakes. As the messenger headed toward the stairs to the main tower the figure grabbed him in an iron grip and stopped him in his tracks. "I am an agent of the nine and I [i]Purifier[/i] of the light" he spoke in a voice of gravel and laced with hatred. Before the messenger could move, Xur tightened his grip and threw the messenger over the railing and into the void of space. No one saw him fall.
