Awesomesauce! Long and epic. What a great way to cap a week that truly blew my mind. Thank you *all* for all the hard work you guys have been doing over the years! The insight to what goes on behind the scenes is a great follow-up to all the front-end goodness we were floored with yesterday. Less than 1249 hours to go....

That was a very long/great update! Love all the insight from you guys, however I have to say, I disagree with Opdahl about the feeling of being lost in a Halo game. My best moment was in Halo:CE, flying up to the control room where Marty's "Siege of Madrigal" music played; and just sat there, staring out through the blankets of snow at dusk/night, just totally calm and in awe of the setting and stakes I was in. I then pressed forward, but that moment and many others of just being allowed to voluntarily get far away from the objectives and the beaten path to reflect made those the most memorable Halo experiences, for me. That, and scripted/procedural events -- those are the best! Guess I have to go dark now, bumz. [Edited on 07.23.2010 7:38 PM PDT]

Read every word. I'd love to comment on things that I read but by the end I've already forgot the beginning. =D Btw, that was probably the best blame stosh vid yet. I love the cloud of dust that continues out as if the mongoose were still rolling. Hilarious.

WOW. Well then. BIG update. Forge World=<3<3<3 I was planning on taking 2 days off work for Halo:Reach, but now... I don't even think 2 WEEKS would be enough. I wonder if Halo is an appropriate excuse to file unemployment for.... I can't wait to remake some of my old forge maps from Halo 3. My God, that was probably the longest Update EVAR. My eyes are burning from reading my monitor nonstop! Anyway, I very much enjoyed that update and did not walk away disappointed. ^_^

The campaign Q&A was great to read, thanks for taking the time to do that. All the new features in this game and the Forge World sound absolutely incredible, great work Bungie! I loved when I saw the Halo CE ring in the background of Forge World, that's a great nod to the beginnings of Halo as we play the latest and greatest from the creators of the story.
