Looking Back: Favorite Weapons from Destiny 1: What Were They?

Hey guys, Now that destiny was over, I just wanted to ask the community (That includes you), what was your favorite weapon (Exotic or no) that you fell in love with during Destiny 1. My favorite weapon was the Payback SOS. For those of you who don't know, the Payback SOS was a year one AR that was designed to TEAR through Oracles. (I repurposed it to tear through guardians now.) I loved it, I love loving it, and I still have it, despite my loss of Light level. It felt nice to hold. Unfortunately it did not make it farther then Year one, and now most of the time is gathering dust in my vault. Anywho, What was your favorite weapon from Destiny 1? Why do you love it? Is it it's ability to tear through enemies? Does it look AWESOME? Tell us what you think. Oh, and no rolls please. We are looking for weapons that you love no matter what.

  • Back in year one I loved my Suros Regime. Was my second exotic, after Bad juju. Still have the most kills on that gun vs any other in the game, but I stopped using it after year two. For year two onwards, it's really been a multitude of different weapons, but Tlaloc and Bad juju are definitely up there, along with my doom of chelchis. For my secondary I don't really remember what I used, just whatever the burn was on the nightfall I would match with my sniper. In year two I used a thousand yard with outlaw, hidden hand, and oiled frame, and after the april update I used a triple tap firefly Her Fury sniper from completing a challenge of elders card. Now mainly use my Eirene RR4 or LDR 5001, and I'm still rocking a sword most times, save for when I'm using my Zombie Apocalypse WF47 or Hunger of Crota.
