Gaming Laptop for Destiny 2

So I'm not a pc guy but want to give it a try. I was told I would be able to sync my Xbox elite controller and play with that instead of mouse n key board. Also i want it to be 4k capable so I'm asking you guys what good brands out there and what specs to look for?

  • I can't really recommend any laptops as i play on a desktop but it will cost you a lot more to get decent power from a laptop vs a desktop for an equivalent price. I would always recommend researching how to build your own desktop if you can do away with the portability of a laptop.

If you are going for a laptop/desktop then get used to a mouse man, it is so much more precise than a controller.

      • I mean you could get a gaming Laptop, but you also could for a cheaper price get an awesome PC... Imo buy a PC instead, in January of this year I had no knowledge about PCs and come now I have learned a ton about them and built 3 so far in the last couple of months. I don't care what anyone says, building PCs and learning about their components isn't hard. It might be a little tedious but I promise it pays off!

            • Does it have to be a laptop or you not interested in a desktop? My point being that a laptop that will play D2 at 4k (on high/max settings) will be crazy money and probably better of with a desktop that you can upgrade as time goes by.

              • Just make sure the graphics card is NOT an integrated one. Whatever the minimum required specs are for the game you want it to play - double it. So if they say minimum 8gb RAM - get 16. Minimum 4K display - damnit man get an 8K display!! (Jk on the display - not everything needs to be doubled. Use your best judgement, or at least let your budget govern what you should do.)
