I Just Want Fun
Can we make sure to just have some fun? With the D2 beta there was some great things. There were also some things I would change. I really want the supers to charge faster. Using a super is fun. That is what sets Destiny apart and makes it unique and fun.
In PvP I want the whole team to have power ammo when it is available if the team is in range. Power weapons are fun. Being able to use a variety of weapons is fun. That's why in D1 I enjoyed being able to choose between using a shotgun, sniper, fusion, or whatever and just going for it (before the special weapon ammo tinkering). When only one player on the team can get power ammo to a bunch of guns that used to be readily available for use in the first game it feels like a step back. I also don't like the feeling of someone taking power ammo from me or feeling like I have to swoop up the power ammo from my teammate. When that happens it doesn't feel like you are on a team. It more feels like you are competing with your teammates to experience a more fun part of the game.
I just wanna have fun.

FUN who thought running around with 2 assault rifles, no grenades, no supers, none of the good weapons, and only having 4 other opponents to kill.....was fun? who thought having ur team standing around the power ammo spawn waiting for it to count down....and only 1 of u gets it....was fun? who thought roaming supers.....when u only have like 2 or 3 opponents at any given moment to kill...was fun?

51 RepliesPower ammo is fun if you have it. If you dont have it... not so much. In D1 if the enemy team grabs both heavy people start to leave. Not exactly my idea of fun.

2 RepliesSorry, but I think the idea of giving power ammo to the whole team is a bad one. Everyone would camp by the power ammo and not play the objective. Not only that, but if someone wipes the enemy team, then the team with power ammo will have a massive advantage. The game would quickly turn into who uses power weapons better. Better teams would just use fusion rifles to get easy kills, and they'd use their ammo to secure the next power ammo drop. It doesn't sound fun to me when the game becomes incredibly linear like this. As it is right now, I can enjoy using almost any primary and have great success with it. There are many opportunities to have a wide variety of engagements like this. Having power ammo drop for everyone would make it very linear.

I like the way power ammo is. Bungie should just do a fiesta playlist every once in a while so you guys can get all the explosions out of your system.

The whole team having power ammo would lead to an imbalance. Slap on the fusion or the shotgun and no primary is going to be able to gun you down. And the whole team getting it? Of course, Bungie could return primary TTK to its former "glory" (not that primary TTK was any good before Bungie trashed it) and up the availability on power ammo, but they're not doing that -- this game is a Halo clone and they want to keep it that way.

Unfortunately; "Fun" doesn't fit into Bungie's "sacrifice-the-whole-rest-of-the-game-for-e-sport-PvP-sweaty-neckbeard-tryhard" vision for the franchise. So, Luke Smith excised the fun. 6 RepliesYeah everything about D1 was just so different from most games out. Even though everything was strong, that's what made it fun. We actually were powerful. Three years later and we got nerfed. Lol the guardians should do a raid against Bungie for making us so damn weak. D2 I feel like a potato.

I had fun sometimes I got the power ammo and sometimes I didn't whatever. Then there was that 1 game where I got all the power ammo on both sides every time I felt dirty it wasn't fair and really wasn't that fun I am sure the other team didn't think it was fun either. I couldn't imagine fighting a whole team with fusions in the beta doesn't sound fun to me
