Representing the Doghouse - Earn your Clan Tags

Applying to join Dads’ Doghouse Dads’ Doghouse Community group in bungie.net will be the entry point. Mission Statement will need to be read and accepted. Depending on availability, new member can proceed to request a tag. An admin or a recruiter will be then assigned to invite the candidate to some sort of guided activity, pvp matches or some patrolling, to get a better feel of whether the candidate and the clan are a good fit. This is not a test, but we are more strict about who gets a tag. Keeping your tag - With great power comes great responsibility As you move through the worlds of Destiny carrying our name and banner, a higher standard of behaviour is set to you, to represent the Doghouse values in every activity. If we haven’t failed miserably in your recruitment, you will likely already have the right attitude, so makes us proud! Given the new nature of in-game Clans, carrying the name of the Doghouse comes with some stricter requirements. Your D2 gaming activities are now tied to the potential rewards that will be shared among Clan members, we’ve established that a member will be stripped from their tag if he/she: Is inactive from the game for over 4 weeks. (see last paragraph) Is not recognized to be playing with other members. (if you're a lone wolf, a solo nomad who likes roaming on your own then having a tag isn't right for you' but you're welcome to stay in the community.) We understand that the very nature under which this community was born, means a lot of our members will have long periods of time off. Maybe play other games, maybe don’t play at all. That’s why the community group will always be open for anyone going through whatever circumstances or personal choices are keeping them away from Destiny 2. But the Clan membership is limited, and we want to make it count. So we are establishing a sort of meritocracy, and merit is, plain and simple, time in game with your clanmates. If you don’t log into Destiny for a period longer than 4 weeks, we’ll recover the tag and make it available to someone else. Once you lose your tag, you are always welcome to reapply to the clan later in time if you are thinking of coming back into the game on a more regular basis. If you are going to be away from the game under very particular circumstances, like getting deployed overseas, or getting hand surgery, you should talk to the admins and we will save your spot until you return. Think of tags as Doghouse limited resources, to be used by those who are able to play and given up by those who are not. It will be yours until you decide to take time off from Destiny, at which point it will be given to someone else. Per your return to them game, you can apply again for one. Remember that this is not about your skill level in game or how many activities you achieved this week. You will have earned your tag by your actions, you maintain it through your actions, not through your history a tag is a right not a life long peerage. Community: refers to the bungie.net Dads Doghouse Destiny Community group. Acts as an umbrella for our clan. Clan: Dads Doghouse [DOGS] refers to the bungie.net Clan group, and will be of increased importance in-game. Clanmate: member of Dads Doghouse [DOGS] Dog: member of the Community. Recruiter: trusted community member charged with helping evaluate potential new recruits by sharing a gaming session with them.
