"Vex milk waterfall"?? Why cant the ghost give me some lore about what radiolaria is instead of making stupid jokes about it looking like milk.
Edit.
Ghost's lines are terrible. I think the most ironic line we will ever hear in destiny 2 is when ghost tells failsafe she is depressing and useless. He is too.
Like this game is about adventure and growing to be a guardian again and getting stronger and ghost is always in the background complaining or talking about dumb small stuff. In the inverted strike, hes freaking out about going into the drills - like come on...who wrote that script. Thats such a turn off for players.
I really wish ghosts lines were more useful or helpful or at least encouraging and empowering. In halo, cortana was a strong, resourcful AI which gave such a boost to players. With her guidance, you felt empowered to fight.
Ghost just doesnt feel like a great companion for success. He's funny yess and cute at times, but his voice sounds like a 10 year old whining most of the game.
Yeah they should just say it's vex sqerm, we're all adults
-
I would be 100% okay with cheesy jokes from ghost IF my guardian actually spoke again and had a more somber, serious tone as contrast
-
Because it is
-
And yet another reason to whine!!! This place amazes me!!!!
-
Lore wise, it's been referred to as milk long before we ever heard anything about D2.
-
Because everyone is a genderless sensitive non working idiot who feels that words are hurtful and could damage their fragile psyche.
-
Although it doesn't really bother me, I'm upvoting because I love your suggestion of some more sophisticated talk about radiolaria
-
"I need big boy words because I'm a big boy"
-
Hey that's what I said🌝. Have you heard the line from FailSafe "Cayde resemblance to Cabal 000.1%". "Cause ya know, Cayde is Dumb" It's on the strike, it's -blam!-ing terrible. It pulls me out of the world😒.

Destiny is rated T for Teen(age 13+)..
-
ITT: I only play mature games for mature gamers such as myself

Edited by Omi: 7/25/2017 9:44:33 PMThat wizard came from the moon

Edited by draycole: 7/25/2017 11:55:42 PMI thought it was rated t for teen? Like 13 and above? Side note: took you guys long enough to pick up on this kind of stuff it's been there since day 1
-
All the dialouge is rather cheesy. But good dialouge has never been in Destiny haha
-
"That wizard came from the moon" anyone? The dialog is far from done. Who knows what finishing touches bungie will make between beta and launch.
-
Agreed. All of Ghost's dialogue is horrible.
-
Edited by THUNDERCHILD: 7/25/2017 10:21:07 PMDuring development Destiny was expected to be rated mature. Somewhere mid development there was a massive shake up. Key figures at Bungie were tossed aside and the grand idea of Destiny was killed off in favor of a very simplified and dumbed down version of its original self. The company that released destiny is bungie in name only, much of its heart and soul was forced to walk out the door. Bungie sold out, plain and simple. Whether it was the top men at bungie or activision, it makes no difference who was responsible. Someone decided that the original vision of destiny was to complex, much more $$$ could be had if the whole thing was watered down to make it accessible to the widest audience possible, so they made it child friendly. Before the white knights charge at me, stop and think about it.. Youre playing a game in which shiny colorful prizes fall out of your adversaries when you whack them....just like piniatas at a damn birthday party.
-
They try to make the game seem not like humanity fighting their extinction, so it have a lower rating. Having the rating be T is better because the game will appeal to adult market whilst also making the game more accessable to a younger audience Tl;dr - $$
-
If the dialogue is for ten year olds, why is the gameplay suited for five year olds?
-
It's rated T in America
-
Edited by OldboyVicious: 7/25/2017 11:01:21 PMBecause today's society treats everyone who is over ten years old like a ten year old, whether you're 16 or 60.
-
Edited by bFLY: 7/25/2017 9:39:11 PMThere's no cursing. That's about it. I really couldn't care less as long as the story is interesting. I don't have the energy to focus on small things like that. Maybe ghost has no idea what radiolara is?
-
its 16+ or rated T for teen where ever you live but thats not the real target audience most game companies or developers target kids because they know their parents will buy it for them who has money you as a teen adult or a kid that begs their parents to buy it for them thats just how it works they try to dumb it down so their profits go up because of squeakers.
-
Because they lost the good writers are had to find fanfic writers fast to fill in gaps.
-
Oh yea, demand beautiful writting out of the guys that brought you Halo, and the nost cringe-worthy bro mascot of them all.
-
12+ it is.
