"Vex milk waterfall"?? Why cant the ghost give me some lore about what radiolaria is instead of making stupid jokes about it looking like milk.
Edit.
Ghost's lines are terrible. I think the most ironic line we will ever hear in destiny 2 is when ghost tells failsafe she is depressing and useless. He is too.
Like this game is about adventure and growing to be a guardian again and getting stronger and ghost is always in the background complaining or talking about dumb small stuff. In the inverted strike, hes freaking out about going into the drills - like come on...who wrote that script. Thats such a turn off for players.
I really wish ghosts lines were more useful or helpful or at least encouraging and empowering. In halo, cortana was a strong, resourcful AI which gave such a boost to players. With her guidance, you felt empowered to fight.
Ghost just doesnt feel like a great companion for success. He's funny yess and cute at times, but his voice sounds like a 10 year old whining most of the game.
"We want Destiny to be rated M and have the characters say '-blam!-' every other word and call Vex milk Vex cum. WHAT THE -blam!- BUNGIE WE WANT MATURE DIALOGUE!!!" Here's a little something to chew on folks. Just having cursing and swearing in a game doesn't make it -blam!-ing "mature". Like seriously, Vex milk is in the lore. It's CALLED Vex milk.
-
you must be new here. the majority of posts on here seem to be by people that act about 9 years old.
-
First the Ghost sounds like Nathan Lane in the Birdcage. Now if he were using funny lines like Nathan Lane in the Birdcage that would be funny. Or if you took the squirrel from Odd World Stranger's Wrath who sat on your gun and busted your balls constantly that would be funny. Like have Ghost sit back and say "you're a lousy shot" "don't be a pussy" "what are you waiting for? An invitation?" "RUN GUARDIAN RUN you Gump! But in the world of political correctness and everyone gets a trophy, like how Bungie treats this game and us I'm not holding my breath.

The ghost is a huge part of the game. It adds so much immersion. They need to find sum1 that can really nail that aspect. The current voice actor doesn't really do that for me. Someone with a deeper soothing voice and more so a stoic sense of humor. This little thing is engaging in epic battles with you. Bringing you back to life. I like to know it's strong willed but yet have a good sense of humor accordingly. Making light of the chaos. IMO.

Almost all of the comments on this post are honestly ridiculous. Seriously. The game's rating is T due to the fantasy violence, not for a dark, or otherwise adult humor tone. The game itself revolves around a light hearted, but serious attitude, no pun intended. If anybody is going to complain about anything, I wouldn't think it'd be as something as stupid as the voice lines for North and the other actors. You can have your own opinion, this is just mine. A game doesn't need to be serious all the time with "16 year old" humor when it's rated as T.
-
Yeah, and why did they nerf everything like it's now designed for 10 year olds.??
-
Ratings do not just relate to spoken words, they relate to themes too, such as violence, sexual activity, drug dealing etc.
-
Because if I wanted a flashback to Chemistry, Biology, and every other class I hated I wouldn't be playing Destiny. We literally defy everything even basic about science, the last thing I want is Professor Nolan North lecturing me about radiolora.
-
Because it's aimed at kids and d2 is catering even more so to the casual kid crowd by dumbing the game down.
-
It's probably just a poke at ghosts sarcastic humor that also sounds childish. Maybe trying to make milk waterfall a "thing" to say on stream so everyone laughs
-
I think that's more of a nod to the community which has been calling it milk since the beta of D1 when people first learned to shoot vex in the stomach
-
Samuel L Jackson or Handsome Jack voice actor.
-
Destiny IS aimed at 10-12 year olds who already play 16+ titles. That's common practice nowadays
-
*5 year olds* 10 is generous

We don't have time to explain why we don't have time to explain. -officialbungiestatement
-
Guilty Spark > Both Ghost voice actors
-
Even if he did, everyone would just call it milk anyway.
-
Its a game aimed at dumb teenagers and d2 has ramped up the casual dumb play even.more so.
-
Dinklebot wouldn't have said this...
-
ratings are different depending on which country you are in I think.
-
It's literally called Vex Milk
-
It is called Vex milk in the lore ya dingus. Hate to break it to you but as a species we would come up with a simplified name like that. Rainbow, lightning bugs, etc all things we use for what things look like to simplify them.

Edited by Kemaleon: 7/25/2017 9:24:42 PMThis reminds me of a post here in the Halo 2 days, an angry mother took to the Bungie forums complaining about the violent game her son was playing. Threatening to sue and take it to the media. I can't remember if it was Shishka or a moderator who replied, but it was beautifully worded. Something along the lines of an irresponsible mother buying an M rated game and allowing her under-age son to play it, and stating they didn't mind if she went to the media about it. She didn't reply. But I did get to see some of the best 'burn' memes this community has ever produced. (before Bungie removed it). Ahh, happy times.

Who cares? I dont!

Can't wait for the day Mickey Mouse will be the new ghost.

A lot of school kids play this game, and those are the ppl most likely to drop money on the dab emote or armour that makes you look like a gnu.
