fast charging abilities were necessary in destiny because bungie basically eliminated the usefulness of non primary weapons in pvp. since destiny 2 adjusted so you could have two weapons consistently, there is no need to use abilities in every single firefight, seriously every firefight in destiny has a grenade thrown, it's way too much. if you got twice as many supers for doing well, bad players would be at an unnecessary disadvantage. I think scorestreaks could be fun though. of course destiny 2 pvp is still bull crap because they still hate snipers and want everyone on the radar at all times because flanking shouldn't be allowed apparently

  • Your point is ridiculously stupid. In Destiny 1 Abilities and Special Weapons are spammed because Primaries are bad and inconstistent. Now in D2 the Primaries are even worse and kill even slower...you only miss your abilities and nades that you can spam. So the only thing left is teamshooting to get kills. The fact that Assists count as kills is fubar. If they'd reduce the TTK on Primaries to 0,6-0,8s instead of 0,8-1,0s that we have right now and the 1,0-1,5s that D2 will have, abilities and nades wouldn't be spammed all the time but still availiable for fun and tactical purposes. But Bungle and the fanboys are too dense to see it.

  • Well, I guess some people ignored that, because I'm getting flanked all the time. And periodically flanking. As for super charge times, a big part of this game is space magic. So why shouldn't we be able to use it?

  • Not that more abilities are bad, it's just the only way to get the upper hand in a firefight. this game forces you to use grenades to win regularly, and keeps you from using a variety of weapons, which is a real turnoff. see the real issue isn't the abilities, it's the lack of usefulness of secondary and heavy weapons, because it's so tedious to collect ammo and dying makes you lose it. radar makes flanking impossible, if you get flanked it's because you aren't watching your radat flash like an ambulance whenever someone is within 30 feet. flanking is only possible when someone is preoccupied with half of your team.
