Personally, I like campers. I see them as rivals who are always waiting for me to challenge them, and it's always fun to come up with strategies to take them down.

They are the sum of the earth and should be shot

Edited by tuckers baby: 7/6/2017 3:07:30 AMIdk, it's pretty in-tents sometimes.
-
I think they are amusing and funny

I owned a pop up for a number of years. It was nice not having to lay on the ground. It had heat, air, fridge, awning, king and queen beds. It was easy to tow around. I like campers.
-
It's usually whatever EXCEPT in games with neutered explosives then it's a problem.
-
It's annoying but it's a valid strategy. Personally I think it's boring as hell to just sit in one spot and wait for somebody to walk in front of you and kill them. Don't understand how anybody could have fun doing that, but apparently they do.

Edited by Ronin: 7/7/2017 3:59:08 AMIt depends on how long they have been camping, how big the "danger zone" is due to their camping, and if that particular spot is used to camp in frequently. Sometimes, when conditions allow, I don't mind campers. Some other times, when conditions allow, campers make me want to throw my controller across the room and punch a hole in the wall. I can't exactly rightfully complain about campers, though. In my group of friends, I have been outlawed from the sniper rifle in Halo because when I have it, I tend to camp half the map with said sniper rifle.

Edited by Zonda: 7/6/2017 3:52:17 PMCamping is lame as hell and for massive wieners but legit. Sure you have heavily reduced options for counter play but once you set their tent on fire it's the most satisfying thing in the world. Also kinda necessary when you're against cheese shit like Melee Fox/Falco

Camping is nice. Sitting around a campfire at night, hiking and fishing during the day. Lots of fun.
"campers" in video games are more similar to hunters who sit in a blind and wait for animals to come by. Getting into position and taking shots at the right time can be hard. If they are good at it, good for them.
Please read the spoiler for a more serious answer.

As long as the map isn't bad, camping is fine.
-
IT'S A LEGITIMATE STRATEGY!
-
Edited by puppyk1sses: 7/5/2017 3:38:30 AMThey're fine. Easy to shut down in games that are properly balanced. Valid tactic.
-
All corners should be electrified w/pressure plates & if you're on them for more then 30 seconds. ............ ZAP!
-
On the enemy team? They can do whatever they like. On my team? Great if they're helping out with an objective.
-
Depends on the game. If I playing a military shooter that requires capturing and holding a point then camping is the game lol.
-
Yeah well in other games like dead by daylight campers are the biggest pain in the ass you will ever have
-
If your using a sniper or LMG I see no problem if your holding down a choke point or somewhere with good sight lines that's strategic. If your just sitting in a corner and not helping than yeah I have problems
-
Cool if you are a sniper/ marksman. Go -blam!- yourself for anything else!
-
Newbs
-
Camping is a legitimate tactic, but CoD corner campers wind me right up.
-
Edited by The Communal Sponge: 7/5/2017 9:54:37 AMNothing wrong with it. When I play I change up my play style throughout the game. It all depends on who I'm playing against or what situation I'm in.
-
I have a nice camper we take on road trips sometimes. Electrical, water and propane hook ups.
-
Annoying, but it's their own fault that they hate fun
-
Fun to kill.
-
Depends on the game, but I would pretty much always say it's legitimate. It's just annoying as well at times.
-
Valid tactics
