I would love this but it wouldn't work because of the whole problem of having multiple people in your fireteam.

Why not do it like Star Wars the Old Republic, multiple players choose their own dialogue options, then the game generates a random number for each and the player with the highest number speaks in the cutscene

I mean just like a one on one with the ghost. Destiny treats you as the actual person in charge, regardless if you're fire team leader or not

The fireteam leader takes the point on the conversations, it rotates, or everybody votes for an option, ties go to RNG.
