It's definitely the Battle of the Six Fronts. The Titan standing to the right (our left) of Zavala and Shaxx during the cinematic is wearing the Mark of the Six Fronts. Add that to the fact that the Battle of the Twilight Gap was fought on the outskirts of the city and it becomes pretty obvious its the BotSF.

Nah dude. That Titan is wearing Honor of Cormorant. Saladin has no known ties to this group and definitely wasn't part of the assault on the Moon. Plus I'd probably be expecting him to be wearing that at least bore some resemblance to the Iron Lords.

Pretty sure it isn't. I went back to the trailer, fullscreened it at the highest quality, and it turns out that Titan is also wearing Honor of Cormorant (so either it's the same Titan or another member of the same group), and not the Mark of Six Fronts like I originally thought. Saladin has no known ties to that group so I highly doubt it's him.

But Cayde was there holding the Ace Of Spades which was only made by Banshee in time where we exist, so that mark is just a lazy prop

The one given to us in TTK is obviously a replica, as we see Cayde using the original in the Trailers for Destiny 2. All we know is that it was a custom piece made by Banshee-44 for Cayde. We're not given a time frame, at least in the grimoire anyway. There might be some more info in the flavour text for the quest, but finding said text online is proving to be difficult. EDIT: So I managed to find the flavour text for the Ace of Spades quest online. Banshee said that Cayde asked him to work with both him and us on a custom weapon project. This kind of implies that this is the first of it's kind, but that's clearly not the case since in the cinematic trailer we see Cayde using Ace of Spades in the same battle where Zavala is in his old armour and using an old weapon. So, either Cayde is asking Banshee to make us a (possibly updated) replica of Ace of Spades, or it's just a continuity error on Bungie's part. That latter kind of seems weird though, as the two unnamed Titans we see in the trailer are wearing chronologically relevant marks. Mark of the Six Fronts and Honor of Cormorant (Cormorant were one of the four Titan orders that fought in the Battle of the Six Fronts). Seems kind of weird that they'd pay that much attention to detail but then depict Cayde using a weapon that hasn't been invented yet. EDIT EDIT: Turns out Cormorant weren't one of the four Titan orders. We know almost nothing about this group/individual actually. EDIT EDIT EDIT: So turns out the Cormorant were a group of guardians (definitely Warlocks and Titans, possibly Hunters) who fought and died in the battle to take back the moon from The Hive. Eriana-3 was a member.
