Subclasses look homogenized in D2... please tell me I'm wrong on this point.
From the six super's we've seen, and what reported to be the other three from taken king (which makes sense, since we've had less time with these supers), all of them are roaming, offensive supers.
Bungie, you've stated that this is intentional.
Having wholly different supers made D1 fun. There were tons of interesting options in pvp and pve for titan bubbles. Nova bombs and FoH could instant counter a lot of things, and the ability to use a super then get right back into the fight made them DPS viable and tactically viable.
We want customization. You have a vast majority of your playerbase that are returning from D1, and want complexity and specialization. Give it to us or we'll stick with the legacy game.

There's no evidence that Nova Bomb is a roaming super. More importantly though being roaming doesn't make them all the same. You think anyone would take you seriously for saying that Golden Gun and Arc Blade both feel like the same super because they're roaming?
