That's the big question. If the game can be spotty even at a 30hz tickrate, how much worse could it get at 60hz? (You're basically doubling the amount of data needed to be sent)
Competitive games usually like their servers to match their framerates. Otherwise, players get lots of ''died behind a wall'' scenarios.
So if PC needs 60hz tickrate to give that smooth feel to match the framerates (but comes at a cost of higher bandwidth), what can we expect?
Either way, adding the physics to their dedicated side and reducing matches to 4v4 should help improve it. Especially if they lighten up on the SBMM.
TLDR: Keeping it 30 means more dying behind walls. Bumping it up to 60 means many less players to get a good connection with. What's it going to be?
Edit: Actually, I looked into it...adding the physics to a dedicated server will actually make it worse...

Great, more bullshit for shitty gamers to blame and more toxic posts. How about you f uck off.

I usually get about one or two tics a year. If someone is inside playing on pc all day they may not get any tics.

Like 4 lol

I don't know where you heard of a 30 hz tickrate last I've heard the tickrate is 10hz. That was last year

Edited by Samantha: 5/26/2017 5:41:44 PMThe tick rate will be so slow that you'll be illegitimately trading more than a drug dealer. In all seriousness, I have no idea. But the abysmally slow tick rate we have now (10hz) simply isn't going to cut it. Hopefully there's something of an upgrade.
