Hate it so much i may not be buying it
If it is so "refreshing" to obliterate your work because of their lazyness...why dont you delete all your stuff on your own right now?
that could be an option in d2 you know, just start a new character and let the people who want to keep the stuff they spent so much time getting do so.
then EVERYBODY wins

Your work and effort wouldn't have paid off for anything anyway- the character you made doesn't really mean anything or contribute much to the world. What you were paying for was enjoyment. I guess you didn't enjoy the grind.

Ya, that's why I don't play COD anymore, all that grinding to master prestige, and unlocking all those weapons just to start back over from scratch, not for me. Also why I never got pong 2. They wanted me to start over with a new ball. The nerve............

ah, no, that wasn't understood at all. It was never said. They said your guardian would continue the journey, not your guardian, and all his stuff. That isn't even getting into the fact that if you did, they would not be able to redo the weapon system, the perk sets, ect. They would have to carry over every single weapon, every single armor piece, and every single perk on them from the first game on. No changing anything, all the mistakes, all the bad has to move forward. Horrible idea, and for what gain? None, people would simply complain about Bungie being lazy and not giving us new stuff. Being lazy and continuing the same broken BS that plagued the original game. Did I mention that no other game has ever done this before? For a very good reason.

yes it was understood. why do you think so many people are upset? in this game your armor and shaders and emblems and weapons [b]ARE [/b]your guardian! not an ugly face you can re-make anyways. and it was what was going to make this game different. in the last year i could drag out thorn if i wanted and have some FUN ( remember fun?) but now it is just another game whose "sequel" looks to be a re-skinned dlc- for 60$ and up its a cash grab and no amount of pr word-smithing is going to change that, or convince me to invest the money AND TIME to go through the crap i have seen from this company for 3 years. again. it doesn't look better, play better, or have the same social aspect of d1. and then when you start to like it(somehow) they will nerf it AGAIN. I dont Stockholm syndrome. I needs to be BETTER than this game and it is not. I am open minded about it but i just dont see the value from what they have shown. too bad

I would say more people are happy that Bungie didn't make the mistake of putting all of destiny's weapons and gear into destiny 2.

Isn't the point of loot to grind for more loot? I mean, your character will always be in Destiny.

it would ADD to the legacy of your conquests instead of ignoring them. it would force me to make decisions on what was important enough to keep AND make room for new. maybe i already have my favorite look. MAYBE I KEPT MY GUNS ON MY SHIP wouldn't it be FUN to pull out year one weapons? of course not, BECAUSE THEY WOULD KICK THE SHIT OUT OF THE CRAP THEY HAVE FOR D2
